Ancient Egyptians- Pyramids and Shadufs

Here you can see some of the work we covered for our topic on Ancient Egypt. We made our own versions of the Pyramids of Giza. King Khufu's pyramid is the largest of the three pyamids.

A Shaduf is an ancient Egyptian machine used for moving water from a lower place to a higher place. We designed and made our own machines to test out. They turned out really cool.

Come in and quiz us on all things Egyptian.

We could mummify you or else we could teach you the song "Walk like an Egyptian". We even wrote our own name in Hieroglyphics. Hieroglyphics was the ancient Egyptian writing system that had 700 symbols for letters!

Today is Pancake Tuesday! We are raising money for The National Childrens' Hospital in Tallaght.

Tomorrow is Ash Wednesday which also means it is the start of Lent. We will be either giving up something or taking on something extra- but UNFORTUNATELY homework doesn't count!
